Not everyone has a flexible enough schedule to make a long-term volunteer commitment to our organization. Our special events are "done in a day" volunteer opportunities.

Chevron Houston Marathon January - Child Advocates is proud to be a Run for a Reason partner of the Chevron Houston Marathon. Come cheer on the runners at our hoopla station! |

Pull for Kids Classic April - Help us at our largest annual fundraiser! With a sporting clays tournament in the morning and a party in the evening, there are so many different ways you can help! |

Superhero Run October - Help us set up for our annual 5K & 1K fun run at CITYCENTRE Houston! It's sure to be a great time with costumes, games, giveaways and more. |

Angels of Hope Luncheon December - Join us in setting up for a luncheon and fashion presentation at one of Houston's premier hotels. |

Miscellaneous Exciting events always pop up throughout the year! Whether it's helping us support a booth at a farmers market or volunteering at a local giveback event, we are always in need of extra help throughout the year. |
You may put in a request of a court appointed advocate for any child/children currently in the temporary managing conservatorship of Harris County DFPS.
