YPC makes a splash with our kids

The temps might be blazing in Houston this summer, but Child Advocates kids had the chance to cool off and celebrate the summer at our annual Water Day on Saturday, July 15! More than 60 of Houston's abused and neglected children played outdoor laser tag, slid down a water slide and took turns racing through the water inflatables. Lunch from Whataburger was also enjoyed by everyone after a few hours in the sun.

There was no doubt that the children would have fun splashing around and racing each other, but the volunteers had just as much fun! Most of them were soaked from head to toe after jumping right in alongside the kids.

The afternoon was all possible because of the generous sponsorship from Tenaris and Whataburger, as well as the members of Young Professionals for Children (YPC) who volunteered. Thanks to everyone who joined us to help our kids stay cool this summer!
